Welcome to Calm Beach Inn! We are delighted to host you and ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. While we take every precaution to maintain a secure environment, please read and acknowledge the following terms regarding personal responsibility during your stay.

1. Assumption of Risk

I, acknowledge that my stay at Calm Beach Inn and participation in any activities (including but not limited to snorkeling, swimming, fishing, island hopping, and speedboat trips) carry inherent risks. I voluntarily assume all risks, including but not limited to:

• Natural hazards such as strong currents, marine life, and changing weather conditions

• Risks associated with water activities, excursions, or boat transfers

• Accidents, injuries, or property loss that may occur during my stay

2. Commitment to Safety

At Calm Beach Inn, your safety is our priority. We are committed to:

• Implementing and maintaining strict safety procedures for all activities

• Providing safety equipment such as life jackets and first aid supplies

• Ensuring that our boats and excursion equipment meet safety standards

• Training our staff to respond to emergencies and unforeseen situations

While we do everything in our capacity to mitigate risks and ensure a safe environment, guests must also take personal responsibility for their actions and follow all safety guidelines provided by our team.

3. Release of Liability

I agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless Calm Beach Inn, its owners, staff, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from:

• Personal injury, illness, or accidents occurring on the property or during activities

• Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings beyond the control of Calm Beach Inn

• Delays, changes, or cancellations of scheduled activities due to weather or unforeseen circumstances

4. Personal Responsibility

I understand that:

• I am responsible for my own safety during my stay and any excursions

• I will follow all safety instructions provided by the guesthouse staff

• I am responsible for any damages to the guesthouse property caused by myself or my guests

5. Medical Disclaimer

I confirm that I am in good health and able to participate in the activities offered. I understand that Calm Beach Inn does not provide medical services, and in the event of a medical emergency, I am responsible for seeking appropriate care. 

6. Agreement & Acknowledgment

By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this Liability Waiver & Release of Claims. I understand that this document is legally binding and that I waive certain legal rights by signing it.

Welcome to Calm Beach Inn! We’re so happy to have you here. To ensure a great experience for everyone, please take a moment to read our house rules.

🌿 General Guidelines

✅ Respect fellow guests & staff – We want everyone to feel at home!

✅ Keep noise levels low – Especially between 10 PM and 7 AM to respect everyone’s rest.

✅ No unregistered guests – Only booked guests are allowed to stay overnight.

🛏️ Rooms & Common Areas

✅ Take care of the space – Treat it like your own home.

✅ No smoking – We would like to be respectful to everyone.

✅ Keep shared spaces tidy – This includes the living room, co-working space, and outdoor kitchenette.

🍽️ Food & Kitchen Use

✅ Outdoor kitchenette is available – Please clean up after use.

✅ Meals are served at set times – Breakfast 7:00- 9:00, Lunch 12:00 - 14:00, Dinner 19:00-21:00. Let us know in advance if you have special dietary needs. We will have your meals ready to go incase you arrive late.

🌊 Activities & Safety

✅ Use safety gear – Life jackets are provided for boat trips and water activities.

✅ Swim & snorkel responsibly – Be mindful of currents and marine life.

✅ Respect the environment – No littering; let’s keep the island clean!

🚀 Check-in & Check-out

✅ Check-in: From 2:00 PM

✅ Check-out: By 12:00 PM

✅ Flexible check-in/out may be available – Please ask in advance.

💰 Damages & Liability

✅ Guests will be responsible for any damages caused beyond normal wear and tear.

✅ Calm Beach Inn is not liable for lost or stolen belongings beyond our control.
